Unique Focus

One of FIRE’s main program focuses is hepatitis and liver, Mongolia’s silent killer, and health safety education. As the only NGO in Mongolia focused on these issues, FIRE is in a unique and valuable position to initiate and improve upon necessary and currently neglected health care solutions, positively changing one life at a time.

Excellent Reputation and Management

As a US based Non-Government Organization working in Mongolia since 1999, FIRE has developed a reputation for being reliable, efficient and having excellent communication. FIRE maintains a high standard of oversight, integrity and transparency, setting it apart from local organizations.

At each stage of every program, FIRE communicates with other NGOs, private companies and government organizations, including the World Health Organization, making sure there is no overlap between programs and to assure they work together. All of FIRE’s medical programs are in collaboration with the Mongolian Ministry of Health under a Memorandum of Understanding.

FIRE’s dedicated staff brings decades of collective experience with health and non-profit programs to Mongolia. FIRE’s volunteer medical advisory board also provides invaluable expertise for program development, evaluation, creation of curricula and training materials

Since 1999, FIRE has developed many long-term relationships with people and agencies within government, private and non-profit sectors. These relationships provide resources at every level from rural clinics to Members of Parliament.
