December 2010, Sharps containers distribution and training
FIRE distributed 14,000 sharps containers to 16 health care facilities in Sukhbaatar Province, with a two-hour training.

Through the efforts of a small, Flagstaff-based organization providing warm clothing, medical supplies and training to the poorest of the poor, “One Steppe at a Time” takes us on a touching, and at times raw, journey into the reality of survival in modern-day Mongolia. Personal stories and the volunteers’ impressions are interwoven throughout this thought provoking documentary made about FIRE’s 2005 winter clothing and medical supply distribution trip. This is a short 6-minute version of the full 36 minute film.
