 In partnership with several national and international organizations focused on improving the health care system in Mongolia, FIRE is developing a comprehensive medical waste management training program. This program is inclusive of medical waste management and health safety training, infection control and patient safety. Training will be disseminated nationwide throughout all three levels of health care facilities in Mongolia as well as to the general public and policy makers.
In 2012 FIRE will complete a one-hour video for health care workers about Medical Waste Management and Health Safety. 2,500 copies will be distributed to all private and public health care facilities across Mongolia, including each department of large hospitals.
